Injury update: Iker Casillas was substituted at 16’ because of a thumb injury. He has bruising and swelling and told reporters after the match that he hopes it’s nothing serious. Iker also posted a photo of his left hand, stating that more tests were needed to rule out a fracture.
He drove himself to Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital around 2:30 in the morning and left less than an hour later [photo]. There were rumblings than he’d be out a week or two, but this was said before he stopped by the hospital. Iker did not divulge any information once he left, and
